Meet Amanda Zink

Amanda Zink is the owner and builder behind Texas Legacy Custom Homes, a woman-owned custom home building company serving Central Texas. With a passion for thoughtful design and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, Amanda believes that a home should be built around the people who live in it — not around pre-set templates or one-size-fits-all plans. She works directly with each client from start to finish, guiding them through the design and construction process with clear communication, organized steps, and hands-on leadership.

Amanda’s approach to building is rooted in listening first. She takes time to understand how her clients want to live, gather, and grow in their home, and she translates those needs into layouts and details that are both beautiful and functional. Her strong attention to detail is especially evident in kitchens and bathrooms, where thoughtful design choices can make the biggest impact on everyday life.

As a woman in the building industry, Amanda brings a collaborative and client-focused perspective to the process. Her goal is to make the experience of building a custom home feel less overwhelming and more empowering — giving homeowners confidence in their decisions and pride in the final result.

Alongside Amanda is Lydia, her loyal sidekick and beloved rescue pup. Adopted in 2024 from Fuzzy Friends after patiently waiting nine months for her forever home, Lydia has become an important part of the Texas Legacy story. She’s more than just a work helper — she supervises job sites with watchful eyes, greets clients with a wagging tail, and faithfully sticks by Amanda’s side through every build. Lydia serves as a daily reminder that while homes are built with strength and precision, the journey matters too — and sometimes the most important part of the process is slowing down and enjoying it.

Through Texas Legacy Custom Homes, Amanda is dedicated to creating homes that are not only well built, but deeply personal. Each project reflects her belief that a home should feel intentional, comfortable, and built to last — built with heart, purpose, and a little bit of tail-wagging encouragement along the way.
